New Park Farm located near the Cumbrian village of Ireby consists
of four self catering cottages, each having their own character.
The cottages sleeping 3 to 6 people are split level with bedrooms
on the ground floor and the living area and kitchen on the first
floor to take advantage of the magnificent views.
These
imaginative barn conversions offer you a luxurious and peaceful
base from which to explore the Northern fells, Lake District and
Solway coast. The area is ideal for walking and cycling with many
footpaths and bridleways nearby. Within 3 miles are the gentle slopes
of the Northern fells, which offer very quiet and accessible landscape
with tremendous views.
All four cottages have full central heating, colour television,
video, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a shared games room,
laundry facilities, and a large grassed picnic/BBQ area. There is
alos off road parking for all visitors.
New
Park is centrally situated for visiting the historic Lakeland market
towns of Keswick and Cockermouth, both with many places of interest,
including galleries, famous buildings (the homes of Wordsworth and
Southey), a theatre, parks, shops and many different restaurants
and bars.
Also nearby is the Solway Coast with its Georgian towns of Maryport
and Whitehaven, both of which have interesting harbour areas, and
much more.
Block bookings are welcome (the games room can be used for parties!).
The cottages are on a quiet country lane about 15 minutes walk
between
the traditional Cumbrian villages of Ireby and Torpenhow.
